care
The great thinker Og Mandino once made this request: "Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again."
Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone offered the type of care Mandino talks about to anyone they meet? The world would be markedly different from what it is today. These days, it seems people just don't care at all about others. Care Factor = zero for most people.
Let's take, for example, the care that a mother gives her children. Have you ever watched a mother wash her child in a baby bath, wrap the child in a warm blanket, and then sing them to sleep at night? What would the world be like if we all cared for others with that same type of intimacy and understanding? Can you imagine?
Caring for others. Even when the "Patience Pond" is fished out, so-to-speak. This is the true test of every individual. Bloggers speaking about care can be found at sites like careinternational and care blog.
