castle

Castle is a new police procedural show on the ABC network. It stars Stana Katic as NYPD homicide detective Kate Beckett and Nathan Fillion as bestselling novelist Richard Castle. Together, these two solve crimes using a method which is part standard and part approach from a different angle. Those who watch appear to enjoy the program, and say so with the use of blogs and websites.   

New shows always have the hardest time trying to get a solid audience. This is due to being the fresh kids on the block. However, Castle quickly obtained a loyal group of followers who are delighted to see the show each week. Fillion and Katic have a chemistry which cannot be ignored. It's much like Moonlighting, so the writing is chock full of smart lines and funny smaller moments.

Network executives apparently also like this show, as they quickly renewed it for a second season.
