Chantix is a controversial prescription drug manufactured by Pfizer which has been used to treat nicotine addiction, and as a stop-smoking aid by those trying to quit.

While Chantix has been able to claim a high success rate in helping smokers to quit (44% according to their official site), the drug's side effects have been reported to include everything from nausea and vomiting to strange dreams, depression, and even thoughts of suicide.

As a result of these reports, on February 1, 2008, the FDA issued a Public Health Advisory on Chantix.

Not surprisingly, Chantix has also become a hot topic in the blogosphere. There are a number of sites where you can get information regarding lawsuits related to Chantix, as well as injuries connected with the controversial drug. Conversely, there are also blogs reporting on Chantix success stories.
