The Pagan Pride Project was formed in 1998 to increase community awareness of Paganism, with regional directors supporting supporting local Pagan Pride events across North America, and, increasingly, the world. Each event hosts a public ritual, food drive and provides press releases and information to encourage positive media coverage.

Previously we’ve looked at the hazards of dismissing someone out of turn simply because they’re deemed “too popular“, but how do they get that way in the first place? Recently on a forum someone inquired as to whether there were any “world renowned” LHP practitioners “like what Phil Hine is for chaos magick”.  This struck me as odd on at least two accounts.

The Internet is wonderful; so many interesting things to read, watch and play with, but, let’s face it, there’s also a lot of crap, and sometimes it can be difficult to find the shiny bits. To combat this, I hereby introduce Saturday Signal, Plutonica.net’s attempt to sift signal from the noise of the Internet’s occultural cacophony.

This is a special, supplemental edition of The Gspot, following up on the conversation I had with John Harrigan on episode 36 a few days ago. Today we’re talking about Terra Extremitas, the massive event spearheaded by Foolish People and incorporating artists from all over the globe.

Samm Hain was born in Framingham, Massachusetts during the blizzard of 78'. His interest in the arts, occult and otherwise, were likewise born in Framingham. Primarily a writer, he has been published in several now defunct magazines and two anthologies: 'The Best Of Konton Magazine' and 'Magick On The Edge'.
