chat

Chat means different things to different people. Back in grandma and grandpa’s day, folks use to sit out on their front porch with some lemonade and chat. That was how friendships were formed, how men courted women, and how father’s had “The Talk” with their sons. It was how spouses worked things out in their marriage and how arguments were solved. However, chat has evolved into something completely different these days.

Chat is done these days via chat rooms on the Internet, text messages from one mobile phone to another and via messages left on blogs.

If you go online you can chat with a group of people located all around the world. You can find people who are doing the same herbal colon cleanse that you are doing, and even talk openly about it. There is no way your grandma and grandpa could have found even one person in town to talk to about something like that.

Today, you can get online and chat with a stranger or a friend about poker lessons and how to make and lose money through gambling. Just remember that the blogosphere is also full of tall tales and false information so be careful who you chat with.
