I have a cold, and I believe that our dear daughter passed it along to me. Lucas seems to have it, too, because this morning on our way to Dunkin’ Donuts, I had to pull over two times in order to give him a Kleenex and make sure that he wiped his nose. It’s definitely a head cold … my ears, nose, and throat feel sore as well as my entire head.

Today sure is flying by… I can’t believe it’s lunchtime already, since I have no idea where the morning went! For lunch, I decided on one of my very favorite combinations that I discovered over the weekend! I chose to take a picture of it on a plate because it was much more appetizing this way, picture-wise, then it looks after I smooshed the two slices of bread together and wrapped it up!

Can you believe how fast this summer went? In three days the year of 2008 will be two-thirds over! How come as you get older time seems to fly by faster? Is it because we are so much busier than we were when we were children? Or do we try to do too much these days?
