    http://www.knucklecurve.com/ cubs-swept-video-cubs-eliminated-from-playoffs/

Many baseball experts had the Chicago Cubs as the favorites to win the 2008 World Series. Cubs fans were also hopeful that the 100-year curse could finally be over. Those hopes, however, will have to wait another year. The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Cubs on Saturday to successfully complete a 3-0 sweep.

    http://www.knucklecurve.com/ chicago-cubs-lose-first-playoff-game/

The 100 year curse looks to be alive and breathing. The Chicago Cubs lost their first playoff game in 2008 by a final score of 7-2 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. At first, things looked fine for Chicago. They got up 2-0 by scoring two in the bottom of the second inning.
