Housekeeping Blame me. I cursed them. It’s Sunday. I’m JB and we’re whittling down the contenders. This post is going to get a little Launching Pad house keeping done as I wrap up my weekend and get ready for the next week of baseball. Catching you up.

Remember things can be worse. No matter what happen just be thankful that none of us here root for the Cubs.

According to a number of reports, Greek Orthodox priest Reverend Father James Greanias was brought in to exorcise the Chicago Cubs dugout prior to Game 1 of their NLDS series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. In the video at the this entry, you can see him at work in the Cubs dugout.

Many baseball experts had the Chicago Cubs as the favorites to win the 2008 World Series. Cubs fans were also hopeful that the 100-year curse could finally be over. Those hopes, however, will have to wait another year. The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Cubs on Saturday to successfully complete a 3-0 sweep.
