Okay, maybe I care a little, but what I'm mostly concerned with is that people care about who they themselves are voting for.

Today is Friday, 8th of August, 2008 - 080808 aka 888! The number 8 for Chinese is a very auspicious number. The pronunciation of the word 8 in Chinese dialects is very similar to the word ‘wealth’, so you know why the obsession among Chinese people with this number.

So last night we opted for Chinese food for dinner. Kendall has no interest in fortune cookies which is great considering that they make both a delightful after-dinner sweet or substitute breakfast cereal. They put four cookies in the bag...all for me, essentially.

Xiaxue has made her stand - she is not going to apologise (although I thought she did retract her statements). In fact, she challenged Dawn, who is currently on holiday in Sydney, to sue her. Dawn’s lawyer commented that they will not be ruling out other options - including mediation and a meeting between both parties without using any points raised in such a meeting in court.
