Portable USB sound cards aren’t exactly popular, but then again they’re pretty useful if you need something better compared to an ordinary onboard audio chip for your entertainment needs. Creative will be introducing the Sound Blaster X-Fi Go!

According to the most recent details regarding NVIDIA’s upcoming graphics products, the Santa Clara-based chip maker is planning to release its very first 40nm GPUs, even before competitor AMD has a chance of delivering its own 40nm-based solutions.

I generally try to stay on top of things when it comes to the components in my gaming rig. I usually try to buy a new graphics card once, maybe twice a year, and generally don’t go for the top-of-the-line card. Despite generally being up-to-date, I really haven’t considered purchasing a separate physics card, even though they have been available for some time.

Things are not looking too hot for NVIDIA.  Or, more accurately, they’re looking far too hot; the hardware fault that to be affecting all G84 and G86 parts in both mobile and desktop configurations.  The issue is with the heat-affected properties of the so-far unnamed substrate or bumping material

Pretty soon, the world as we know it is going to end. This has nothing to do with any natural disaster, because I am talking about the computer hardware landscape, and not the Earth. Why? Well, according to ATI’s senior VP of marketing, Richard Bergman, NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 200 GPU is the last high-end monolithic “megachip.” So… no more single-chip GPUs???

nVidia shares more details on its upcoming GeForce GTX 200 family GPU, the GeForce GTX 280 and GeForce GTX 260 chip. These two chipset is a big upgrade and improvement from previous line – unlike the G80 to G92 upgrade (was very disappointing). GeForce GTX 280 is the successor of last year’s GeForce 9800GTX.
