Huru Humis will be one of the big gifts that everyone is going to want for Christmas this year. They are made for children ten and up. However, my 4 year old and 1 year old love them too. Each Huru Humi has its own name and distinct personality. Their interests range from sports to journalism.

but, I’m thinking about Christmas shopping already. Trying to figure out our budget for this year and what on earth I might buy for different people on my list. I hate making these decisions, because inevitably I’ll choose something that’s waaaaay beyond what I can spend - creating an avalanche that ends up with bills in January that would make a dead man cry.

Creative Joy & Mutual Incomprehension This Summer has been different. As I approach the dawn of homeschooling everyone together, I do so with great fear and trembling.  The only factor that meagerly bolsters my weak confidence in this new education plan is that something rather profound has happened during this Summer: My children actually play together.
