Churches are places for people of faith to meet.  Over half of the world’s 34,000 Christian churches are small, and blogs offer them a place to connect.  Over 86 percent of the world’s population of 6.7 billion belongs to a church and blogs connect them together.

New Christian movements like the Resurgence are reaching out to all ages via the blogosphere.  Traditional Christian resources like John Piper’s Desiring God blog to thousands of readers a day.  For those of an alternative persuasion, the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is still going strong, with 80’s retro wallpapers and 58,000 facebook adherents.  Other top church blogs include the LDS Newsroom.  Writer Ann Jackson’s hot, candid blog connects churches and the blogosphere with a personal twist.  Classy, literate Tall Skinny Kiwi writes with a bloghistorian approach, while the Pyromaniacs are up with Web 2.0 and the London Baptist Confessions of the 1600’s.

If you want to check out church-tagged posts and blogs, this is the place. Other cool tags are god, prayer, and religion.
