Focusing On The Long Side For Tuesday

    http://www.gracecheng.com/ stocks/ 2008/ 10/ 06/ focusing-on-the-long-side-for-t…

We ended Monday above the support lines I drew in Monday morning’s post. Many traders will be looking for a rally on Tuesday, given the extreme action Monday and end-of-day buying that took place. Perhaps some value investors will be looking for (what they consider to be) bargains as well.

    Bakken Oil Drilling

    http://www.energyandcapital.com/ articles/ bakken-oil-drilling/ 765

Things are getting ugly out there. There's a good chance you cringed like I did after watching the Dow fall over 700 points. Energy wasn't in much better shape, either. Oil prices dipped for the fourth consecutive day, dropping below $90 a barrel. Yet oil falling below $100 per barrel shouldn't come as a surprise to us.

HashTable insert failed. Load factor too high

    http://blogs.msdn.com/ carloc/ archive/ 2008/ 10/ 01/ hashtable-insert-failed-lo…

I already encountered a few recurrences of this errors and every time it has been a torture to capture a correct set of data (especially memory dumps) to review because this usually happens sporadically and you could have to wait weeks if not months before getting it again.

CLR Inside Out: Unhandled Exception Processing In The CLR

    http://blogs.msdn.com/ msdnmagazine/ archive/ 2008/ 09/ 30/ 8970301.aspx

Unhandled exception processing shouldn't be a mystery. It's actually quite useful since it gives a crashing application an opportunity to perform last-minute diagnostic logging about what went wrong. In the September 2008 issue of MSDN Magazine, Gaurav Khanna discusses how unhandled exception processing for managed exceptions is implemented by the CLR.

    Another Chart

I just was scanning around and noticed that CLR has run 10 points after finishing a TD Combo buy.  Nice to see the signals still working.  I still wouldn’t be long here, but it doesn’t hurt to look. Tagged: CLR, TD Combo
