Here’s is this week’s Sheridan Broadcast Network Black College Football Poll. Of course I have gripes with it, as there’s no way the Southern Jaguars and Grambling should be above Prairie View A&M, the only undefeated team in the SWAC.

We get the fact there is nothing scientific about the polls. We get the fact the system is utterly broken. We get the fact the dinosaurs of the BCS conferences have no intention of giving the fans what they want: A playoff. Fine. Whatever. We’d still would like to see the best team each week voted number one.

College football fans - how do you feel about a BCS Title Game between Wisconsin and Utah? The downside: outside of fans of either school, no one knows more than two players on the two teams combined. The upside: at least it’s not Ohio State, ready to get shellacked by an SEC school again.

When the AP and Coaches polls came out this week, Penn State hovered around No. 16 overall. But when we look at the leading computer rankings--Jeff Sagarin's and College Football Poll--there's a huge difference between the human and computer rankings. You will notice that in the current CFP, Penn State gets a hefty dose of confidence and a No.
