http://www.the-word-is-not-enough.com/ blog/ rob/ 2008/ 05/ cbss_fall_2008_shows…CBS's Fall 2008 shows Posted 54 minutes ago | Post a comment | We had a look at ABC's Life On Mars yesterday and seeing as that's pretty much its only new drama show, we'll be hearing nothing more from it for now. So it's time to have a gander at CBS's new Fall shows: The Eleventh Hour, The Ex-List, Harper's Island, Project Gary, The Mentalist and Worst Week.

La Manga Looms.
http://my.telegraph.co.uk/ the_bulletin/ may_2008/ la_manga_looms_.htmThe Bulletin will by absent from the MyT playground for a few days. Tomorrow, in the company of a score of fellow members of the local tennis club, I am off for a long weekend whacking balls around the gratifyingly slow (albeit undeniably woggish) clay courts of La Manga. http://subtlebluntness.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ the-horrors-of-spider-island…Fast forward to the 1:37 mark. Then please join me in stabbing out your ear drums. Almost all of his performances have relied on his ability to act wacky while counting. Some people I know think he’s pretty amusing, while others hate him with a passion.

Most Disturbing Songs Ever, Part II
http://www.thedayjobs.com/ 2008/ 05/ most-disturbing-songs-ever-part-ii.htmlA year ago tomorrow, I started a very short list of the most disturbing songs ever. These were songs that were not outrightly provocative (i.e. death metal or Marilyn Manson or 2 Live Crew or whatever), but more subtley off-putting. In short, people liked it.

This is Only a Test
http://motherwoman.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ this-is-only-test.htmlI want to piss off catbert but it really won't. It will only hurt the customers and myself in a way. I have worked this week to negotiate a graduated return to work. In a month I will be working full-time at a job I left almost 2 years ago. We'll see if I can really do it after not giving it a thought for that long.
