This article is a cross-post from Scottish Sketch, my political commentary blog on Scottish and UK politics… http://scottishsketch.wordpress.com/ And this is the RSS Feed… Listening to John Humphrys interviewing Gordon Brown on Radio’s 4 Today programme this morning, I was reminded why I don’t like Brown’s style of Government and management.

    Cancer and College Education

    http://www.cancercommentary.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ cancer-and-college-education/

Paul McGee of American Cancer Society has pointed me to a report from The Washington Post, entitled: The Less the Education, The Higher Risk of Dying Cancer. Quite catchy eh? I totally agree. From the said report, it says: “The difference in death rates between highly educated and poorly educated people in the United States is very wide and growing wider”.

BC Government propoganda fails math test

    http://doubleblind.ca/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ bc-government-propoganda-fails-math-test/

A BC government press release telling people the usual garbage on how to drive. The one line that caught my attention was the following: The Victoria Day long weekend is traditionally among the busiest and deadliest on B.C. roads and highways.

    Bad Planning in India

    http://ti.org/ antiplanner/ ?p=425

Bad Planning in India India built a bus-rapid transit line, but put the bus stops on median strips in the middle of a busy highway. Since it opened nearly a month ago, there have been three to four pedestrian accidents a day. Maybe it was just poorly designed.

An Obama “Coalition Government?” May Need To Appoint Foes To Win Support

    http://thefeldmanblog.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ an-obama-coalition-government-may-need-…

While the conventional meaning of a coalition government is a joining of representatives from different  political parties, perhaps a coalition government made up of the major contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination is the way to go should the Democrats win the White House in November?
