No Way! I didn’t go see Joel Osteen this weekend, although I did visit a church that seemed more like a shopping mall than a house of worship. There were escalators! It was so exciting. After church, my wife and I went for fellowship at Chris deVidal’s house.

It was a good morning this morning. People loved the VBS video that The Weave produced (see below). And after a week of rest in the mountains, my voice did whatever I wanted to (it's so nice having a rested voice and being able to sing with power).

It was a great morning today at NewCov. My buddy, Mike Chastain, had a great message and Ben Drati, a local principal gave his testimony. The band brought it, as usual, and the vocalists did a great job, too.

This is a Creative Chaos blog post. I recently went to lunch with my Lead Pastor, our Communication's Director and a neighboring church's Worship Pastor. The purpose of the meeting was to talk about our website challenge. The challenge is that it's no good. Our website is outdated and needs a major overhaul.

Penns Valley Community Church is getting serious about helping men and families find accountability when surfing the Internet. The elders at Penns Valley announced they will subsidize the cost of a subscription for anyone at their church wanting to have Covenant Eyes accountability software on their computer.

On Saturday, I posted the message bumper that we used last Sunday at NewCov. Here are the outtakes. You can tell by my laugh (or is that a cackle) that I thoroughly enjoy shooting Randy repeatedly. I went in and snapped this picture of the new set design that Randy is working on. He yelled at me. He didn't want you to see it before he was done. The great thing about being the boss, though, is that I can take the picture anyway and post it. So... please don't judge the final design by this picture.

My church hosted a debate (Dinesh D'Souza v. Michael Shermer) and a symposium. Today I went to a session with Chap Clark where he said that today's mid-adolescents (like the oldest blonde boy) struggle desperately to understand who they are and whether they matter/make a difference.

We are doing baptisms this Sunday. One of our production team (The Weave) put these together. Jim (or "Pep" as we like to call him) has really taken these testimony videos up about 500%.
