OR IS IT JUST BLUSTER? Friday night three people were hit by gun fire on the Mexican side of the border near Campo, CA. The Border Patrol is not answering questions. The San Diego Minutemen claim to have been in the area and were armed, according to “founder” Jeff Schwilk. He claims three people were dead.

RACISTS NEED NOT APPLY News is starting to circulate that Lou Dobbs, that bastion of anti-immigration sweetness and light is thinking about running as a Republican for the governorship of New Jersey. Currently Dobbs is registered as an Independent. Let’s hope he stays that way.

CONSERVATIVE WOMEN NEED NOT APPLY Say it ain’t so, Cal. Yesterday I encountered one of the most offensive columns I've ever had the misfortune to read. The worst of it is the fact that it was written by a columnist and conservative pundit I considered far above such things. Someone I respect.
