    http://www.sergetheconcierge.com/ 2008/ 10/ to-tip-or-not-t.html

From cell phones and designer jeans to graduation parties that felt like a show biz event, many parents treated their kids like royalty (or did they spoil them rotten). http://www.sergetheconcierge.com/ 2008/ 10/ any-suggestions.html

Should Waiting to Turn the Heat On become an Olympic event?

    http://www.sergetheconcierge.com/ 2008/ 10/ should-waiting.html

I have to be thankful that in my corner of New Jersey it has not been colder. It is October 8 and I have not turned the heat on yet. Day temperatures are still in the mid to high 60's. In the past week, night temperatures have dropped to the mid 40's.

    http://www.nowpublic.com/ tech-biz/ october-7-world-day-decent-work-did-you-know

I would not have known that October 7, 2008 was declared World Day for Decent Work by Unions around the globe if I had not read A Foolish Race to the Bottom (FT, October 6) by Stefan Stern. What defines 'decent work' he asks? Good pay, the right environment, safety, you... read more
