Cosmetic Surgery is a part of Plastic Surgery although looking at the people performing it, many of them are not proper residency-trained plastic surgeons. For some minor procedures, this is probably not too worrisome, but is some cases it can be pretty scary. Obviously the idea in Cosmetic Surgery is to improve upon the appearance of the patient. Improvements are obviously subject to interpretation. 

Cosmetic procedures include Botulinum toxin injections (Botox TM, Myobloc TM) and operations include breast implant placement, liposuction, tummy tuck, rhinoplasty (the "nosejob,") facelift and many more. 

Celebrity blogs are the most common to discuss Cosmetic Surgery frequently to point out celebrities who may have had more than enough. Good results are harder to pick out. Maybe that is why they are more rarely featured.
