cover

Cover has a lot of different meanings. It could be the cover of a magazine, the cover you take to get out of a storm, the cover charge you pay to get into a nightclub, or someone offering to cover for you so you don't get in trouble.

You can cover yourself with a blanket to keep warm, while you can also make sure you have great car insurance coverage. Both are different ways to secure yourself.

Technorati covers a huge number of blogs. Google covers even a larger number of websites. The word cover can mean to expose something for all to see, while to go undercover means to "underexpose" or to hide oneself for the purposes of finding out information. If you discover something you uncover it or make it manifest for the first time.
