Obama: The Glory Of The Olive

    http://samablog.robsama.com/ ?p=3641

It’s gotta be tough predicting the future, via psychic means, that is. I mean surely, the further out into the future you try predicting, the more hazy the future must become. No wonder so many prophets use coded language like quatrains to try and describe what they’re seeing.

    Subliminal Racism?

(Click image to enlarge) Not to sound get Oliver Stone-y on you guys, but does this still from a McCain ad Higher have people in the background holding up letters to spell the word "hang?" And before everyone goes nuts, yes, it's obviously a piece of Obama's "change" slogan that is being held aloft, but the ad never pulls back the dark edges of the shot to reveal it.

Why We’re All Wrong About Multiple Villains in Films [Multiple Villain Syndrome]

    http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/ opinions/ why-were-all-wrong-about-multiple-vi…

In 2000, we found a new hope for a modern era of superhero and comic book movies with the release of X-Men. The reaction was so strong that the explosion of comic movies was both immediate and long-lasting.

Dr. Steel vs. Dr. Horrible: Mad Scientist Showdown

    http://coilhouse.net/ 2008/ 07/ 16/ dr-steel-vs-dr-horrible-mad-scientist-showdo…

Intellectual property is an ever-raging discussion here in The Age of The Internet. Often the lines between inspiration and imitation are blurred but today I give you an interesting case. You decide! Long-time mad scientist Doctor Steel has, over the course of many years, made himself an infectious image.

SERIOUS OPTIONS PLEASE (Part One) “Beam me up Scotty” In reality, if we cannot find realistic alternatives to coal fired plants, then it’s problematic that global warming can be effectively reduced. A replacement process actually has to supply reliable and continuous power to consumers, one that doesn’t cost so much it makes electrical power unaffordable to the consumer.

I sense a disturbance in the force. Due in part to........ Blogging has fallen nearly silent with comments; Gas and food prices have shot way way up, without logical progressions of explanation; Here in shake and bake land we are way way way overdue for an earthquake.

Indiana Jones Makes Find at 2012 Olympics Site

All right, maybe not Indy, but REUTERS reports that some other non-fictional archaeologists uncovered four prehistoric skeletons at the construction site of London’s 2012 Olympic Village. Really, just old bones? C’mon Britain! You know if this were China, it’d have been an uranium dump.

    (crackpot) Reader Feedback!

    http://www.capitolvalley.net/ 2008/ 03/ reader-feedback.html

Rod Adams, of the Atomic Insights Blog, wrote us a nice letter about our piece on Dr. Patrick Moore from earlier this week. On the other hand, I am not sure that despite proclaiming himself an expert on the issue, he is fully aware of the history of Nuclear Power, and perhaps he didn't even listen to the entire interview.

    I! Am! Megatron!

    http://brianhewitt.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 03/ 22/ i-am-megatron/

In the vein of all movie previews these days, I find it important to shout each word of my proclamations in the most dramatic, angst-filled, spittle-rattling way possible. Thanks for that 300. Especially things as ridiculous as this: I AM 68% MEGATRON Take the Transformers Quiz So go take
