Dailymotion is a video portal that allows users to upload, view, and share videoclips. Based in Paris, France, the site launched in 2005 and has since expanded to several international markets, including Argentina, India, the UK, and the US. The site has launched various features, including high-definition quality clips, customizable video players, family filters, and the ability to search for content using tags, channels, and groups.

Similar to YouTube, Dailymotion offers a combination of user-created, advertising, and professional content. Favorite clips may be shared through such social networking sites as Facebook, or via widgets such as Videowall and VideoZap, which can be posted to a blog or personal website.
