dax

DAX is an acronym standing for Deutscher Aktien Index, a German stock market index that only contains blue chip stocks from the top thirty German companies. These thirty companies are all traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and are considered very solid investments by investors around the world. Most of the smartest (and richest) investors consider DAX the benchmark indicator for German stocks. When it comes to German stocks, you might say that DAX is where the real money is.


DAX is the place where all relevant German business information on companies included in this index can be found by investors. Many American investors often view DAX to be the most reliable index for excellent German investment opportunities.

The DAX index contains companies from a wide range of sectors, including clothing and footwear; insurance; chemicals, automobile makers; banks and credit companies; airlines; health care; industrial companies, and many others. Wise investors follow the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and the DAX index in particular, very closely.
