Besides being a type of fuel for large vehicles, Diesel is a famous clothing and accessories company, founded in Italy in 1978. The founders originally chose the clothing industry for the focus of their sales, but have since spread into the market of accessories and fragrances.


Diesel fragrances and designs, including Diesel accessories and Diesel shoes are available in many retailers around the world and can also be purchased on numerous websites on the internet.


Diesel is the first clothing company to market themselves on a video game system. In 2008 they made a deal with Sony to sell their products on Playstation Home, marketing to the many young adults who own the video game system, and who are the target market for their designs.
