disease
For most diseases, there really is no silver bullet. There are some "Maybes" and several "Try This Options" and even a few "Possible Fixes." But at the end of the day, there is no surefire way to fight dread disease.
Part of this is because we are all different. And our bodies all react to disease differently. We all know the 98-year-old man who still passes his physicals with flying colors and we all most likely know the toddler whose had more than her fair share of diseases in her young body.
A disease is any abnormal medical condition that impairs the body and how it functions. There are usually specific symptoms and signs that identify a disease, and it may be caused by either external or internal factors.
Sometimes disease is thought of as anything that throws a curve ball at us. Whether there really is such a thing as ADD and ADHD, whether there really is one specific agent that causes "Chronic Fatigue", etc. is up for debate. We can call behaviors and conditions by a name, but sometimes a disease can actually be over-diagnosed.
