The Drudge Report is a news website run by Matt Drudge. It has been active since 1994, and is one of the most visited news sites on the Internet.
The Drudge Report first drew national attention when it was the first media outlet to report on the extra-marital affair between then-President Bill Clinton and White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Since then it has played an influential role in American politics.
Matt Drudge is a conservative, and so The Drudge Report is often accused of having a conservative bias. However, the site primarily consists of links to news articles from mainstream media publications, not original reporting by Mr. Drudge.
