Drumming is the act of simply banging on an object either with instruments or hands.

Drumming
is a very important part of African culture. Different regions of the continent have deep roots in the dance and musical component of their culture.

There are many different companies and websites that offer people a chance to learn and experience the cultural dance that has taken place in Africa for centuries.

Drumming workshops are a good start to learning the importance of the different beats and rhythms and what the different sounds and movements mean from one area to another. These lessons and workshops are offered in Africa as well to the many tourists visiting the land.
