e readers

E-readers are nifty bits of technological gadgetry. Although not having all of the functionality of an iPad or a tablet, they do have a longer battery life and the display is easier to read, even in the sun.

An e-reader is primarily used for reading books, magazines, or periodicals (and even comics now), but some of the new e-readers are so advanced that they are not only in color (such as Kindle's colour ereader, but they can also play movies and music, and additionally have apps and games on them as well.

Some of the top contenders in the e-reader industry are the Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble's Nook. Bloggers speaking about e-readers can be found at sites like goodereader.
