ecofriendly

As we seek to recover our sense of place within the ecosystems of planet Earth with non-destructive lifestyle, eco-friendly is a key buzzword in the blogosphere.

Descriptor of the green movement, eco-friendly is applied to an undeniably broad range of goods and services that are aimed towards (hopefully) causing little or no harm to the environment. For the sincere of heart, it must be determined whether "eco-friendly" as a descriptor is in truth what it says, or a ploy of advertising as we now have blogs on eco-friendly merchandise ranging from cars to cosmetics, computer chips, furniture and vending machines.

Blogs are a great place to be inspired by eco-friendly events and tours, or to find true earth friendly resources such as power, lights, architecture, building styles, recycling, restaurants, flooring, furniture, and more. We can also learn discernment in the blog community as to whether this wonderfully intentioned word is describing true eco-friendliness where bloggers reveal top companies doing ”greenwashing”.
