I was lucky to grow up in a house where one/both/all of Mom / Dad / Nana cooked everyday. Being a vacuum cleaner when it comes to eating (even from a young age) I was probably always underfoot in the kitchen and I'm assuming it was easier to teach me to cook, so I could help them, instead of them constantly falling over me :) It made learning very easy.

Hmmm ... that's funny ... this is another post about Bloc 11 Cafe. Just a real quick one. Tony and I went over there for breakfast before heading over to Harvard Square for the May Fair. We both enjoyed an egg sandwich with prosciutto. Yum! With melted cheese on rosemary foccacia bread. Mmmm!

The breakfast set was first introduced at late 2006 overseas and apparently, it is claimed that the smell from the warm sandwiches interferes with the coffee aroma in their stores and causes drop in sales.

Sometimes, you just gotta have an egg-salad sandwich. Well, here’s my recipe for one, including instructions for how to hard boil an egg (certainly not rocket science, but necessary to know anyways). This recipe makes one tasty sandwich, and there’s only 8 grams of fat and 311 calories! Eat up! Hard Boil: There’s really no magic secret to this.

I can’t even remember how I got to this other blog, but boy am I glad I did! These pork chops were FANTASTIC. The inside was juicy and tender and the outside was crisp and flavorful. Really the perfect combination. I’m not sure I will ever be able to go back to a can of bread crumbs.
