Bloggers using the tag Egypt fall into three main groups.

Many are writing about the politics of the North African state, either its role in international affairs, and its difficult relationships with its neighbours, or about its often repressive internal politics, that sees much concerns expressed about human rights.

Others are writing about their travels in this popular tourist destination, or sharing their photographs of their trips. A few write about living there.

And many are writing about the wonders of the ancient civilisation of Egypt, from the glories of the pyramids, to the mysteries of the mummies, to modern fictional depictions of its life.
