I got nothing done today. Ok, I did…but I didn’t do what I was wanting to get done. I was planing on working on a clients website, and I did, but only for a few minutes. I went to town for a little while, mainly to deposit some money in the bank and pick up a prescription.

So I went to this credit union (near Berkeley Bowl) the other day to get $50 bill as a gift.  I’m doing large bills now versus gift cards btw.  Don’t do gift cards.  I go to the ATM, take out some money, and go around and inside and wait in line.  There’s a security guard that opens the door for you.

Let's just say that Dixie cups are not all that flushable. Sure, yes. Eventually they breakdown. Providing, of course, that you pour enough hot water into the bowl and plunge for long enough. I'm just saying. And now a certain 6 year old is forbidden from being in the bathroom unattended for the rest of the week.

Woke up at 5am with the house cat crying and meowing at my head. Home after 7am, wrote an email to my guy, in the shower then laid down on the couch watching my Matt Lauer and fell asleep…woke up and it was 10:45 and almost had a heart-attack as I had a dentist appointment at 10:50! I made it two minutes late and now my mouth hurts.

A London-based girl gang apparently blew up a house by pouring a liquid explosive into its mail slot. Which is Gothic enough, or at least pulp-ish. But trust The Times to hunt for an internet connection, no matter how slight, or simply hypothetical.

I’m wondering if I should ever post again. The longer I go without posting, the more comments I get on my last post. My comment number is now impressively high for me (and yes, I realize it isn’t for most of you. Whatever). The comments are also long and thoughtful, and I am planning a follow-up post that incorporates a lot of them.
