Peter Saville the designer famous for the design of record sleeves for Factory Records artists, most notably for Joy Division and New Order, will be the artist and curator for Arkitip No. 0049. The collection will be a virtual catalog of Peter’s work including essays from Saville’s colleagues throughout his career.

Ireland and her music is really what this story is about. When I think of Irish music, I think of Belfast and seminal artists like U2, Stiff Little Fingers, and Van Morrison who all weave a rich tapestry of the romantic poet traditions as old as the Emerald Isle itself and the modern problems that plague all divided nations.

Sometimes I forget about what got me into making techno… I was still WAY too young to understand what the Factory Records experience was, but I remember going to parties and after hours and all ages and hearing this stuff mixed in with early early house music. It was incredible…. and it affected me.
