So you might as well have a good time
http://edwworld.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ so-you-might-as-well-have-good-time.htmlBlogging is a interesting way of writing. There is always the choice to write it straight or to tell a story. Do I write the bare bones, or do I take the path through the woods? Who am I writing for, anyway? Does it matter? I admire bloggers who can write it out straight and not sound pedantic.

00491: Long Distance
http://grimlock88.livejournal.com/ 301240.htmlI just got home from a night out with Auntie Emma, Uncle Ding and his niece and nephew. As I sit here at the computer, for the life of me I can't remember their names. Boo me. We all had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen were Auntie Emma insisted they had the best tiramisu she had ever tasted.

Old Time Kuwait
http://intlxpatr.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ old-time-kuwait/Last night, driving around our area, we saw something new, something I love. In place of the now-departed semi-permanent constructed diwaniyyas with their comforts and air conditioning, we saw a return of the old diwaniyya benches, with cushions, and traditionally dressed men lounging, conversing, solving the problems of Kuwait and the world out in the relative cool of evening in Kuwait.

for her
http://aleksillyserious.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ for-her/It felt like The Amazing Race. Only there were no cameras, and the two men in a hurry did not have six-pack abs like Mark and Rovilson. My brother Bong and I slammed the car doors and brisk-walked (we’re both too out of shape for running) across Davao’s Ilustre Street toward Gaisano South Mall.

TO THE LIGHTHOUSE - LOVING THE JERSEY SHORE
http://dontgelyet.typepad.com/ dontgeltoosoon/ 2008/ 05/ to-the-lighthou.htmlWe've went to Long Beach Island, off the Jersey shore, a few weeks ago. I've been there often but never before May -- it was still winterish there, hardly anything open and just lovely. We came with friends for my husband's birthday -- four adults and four little kids.

Womongathering I’m Coming to Find Myself
http://2witchesblog.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ womongathering-im-coming-to-fin…With Miss Artistic’s latest crisis Lady Rose & I had to talk seriously about whether or not to still go to Womongathering. The long and short of it is that we are. I have my hesitations because of not having much in the way of cell phone access once there. I have my worries over the fact that

Score Yourself
http://badmomgoodmom.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ score-yourself.htmlScore Yourself Mark sent me this link and told me to rate myself. With only the first page to work with, there is no way to score higher than 25. I am doomed to be a very poor wife, indeed. Tiabla posted the rest of the three-page test, along with the companion husbands' test.

Rockin Robin
http://craftingmama.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ rockin-robin.htmlLast weekend, Mother's Day weekend, my daughter had her first dance recital in a real auditorium on a real stage. She danced for about 2 1/2 minutes but we were there almost 3 hours and we sat through 46 dances. We don't live in a small town so it was amazing to see how many people we knew who had girls in the show.

Did I really just say that?!
http://muddyboots.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ did-i-really-just-say-that/“You may take ONE shower a day! ONE!” Said to the 16yo boy. Did I really just say that? Wasn’t it just yesterday I was yelling that he MUST take one shower a day? Will he regress?

My favorite Texan...
http://pollywogcreek.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ my-favorite-texan.htmlOur trip to Texas has sadly come to an end and we are on the road back to Pollywog Creek. It's been a long day - from tearful Texas goodbyes to all day driving in severe weather through northeast Texas, southwest Arkansas, across northern Louisiana and north and central Mississippi. We are ready to be home.
