American actress Farrah Fawcett was born on February 2, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is best known for her role on the original Charlie's Angels TV series and the sex symbol status that was bestowed upon her following the release of her legendary pinup poster.

With all due respect to Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton, Farrah Fawcett is one of the most iconic blonde beauties of our time.

With an impressive 5 Golden Globe nominations and 3 Emmy nods under her belt, Farrah Fawcett is an acclaimed character actress whose impressive resume includes roles on television, on the big screen, and on Broadway.

Farrah married her Six Million Dollar Man co-star Lee Majors on July 28, 1973. The two divorced in 1982. She has been romantically linked to actor Ryan O'Neal ever since.

Farrah returned to prominence at age 48 when she bared all for Playboy's December 1995 issue. The magazine would go on to sell more than four million copies, good enough to stand as the magazine's best seller of the decade.

In recent years, Farrah Fawcett's professional career has become intertwined with her personal struggles. She was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006. Farrah's Story, a television special which chronicled her cancer aired in 2009.
