Style refers to the particular manner in which something is done, created, or performed. In the world of fashion and clothing, it means the way in which a person puts their own personal stamp on their look. Style is also a synonym for fashion.

Every year, designers create new collections of clothing and accessories to not only sell their creativity, but also to show their flair for style. If you are learning to develop your own style in dressing, you can start with reading books on style first and then get a professional stylist’s or an image consultant’s help.

There are many blogs which talk about fashion and style, and how to develop one's personal sense of style.

Artists from various industries (like entertainment, apparel and design, and the visual arts) benefit greatly from developing their own personal style. It helps them to differentiate themselves from the masses. As designer Yves St. Laurent once said, fashion fades, style is eternal.
