favors

Favors are the tokens given to guests at events, parties, weddings and children’s parties. The favors are usually done in the same theme as the event or party and include a personal item, confection or keepsake. The traditional wedding favors were five Jordan Almonds which symbolized health, wealth, happiness, fertility and longevity. Almonds were chosen for their bitterness, which represents the obstacles of married life, the sweet coating was added to sugar coat the obstacles and as a wish for a sweeter life.
