Stacy Ann Ferguson (aka Fergie) is a chart-topping singer, songwriter and actress best known for being the lead vocalist of the popular electro-hop/R&B band Black Eyes Peas. She was born on March 27, 1975 in Hacienda Heights, California.

Fergie started off her music career as a member of the female trio Wild Orchid. She recorded three albums with the group before leaving in 2001.

In 2003, Fergie teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas on their hit album Elephuk. She recorded six songs on the album, including hit singles like "Shut Up," "Hey Mama," and "Lets Get Retarded." The album was a commercial success and Fergie was invited to permanently join the group shortly thereafter.

With two successful Black Eyed Peas albums already under her belt, Fergie embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album The Dutchess in September 2006. The album produced three number-one hits, "London Bridge", "Glamorous", and "Big Girls Don't Cry."

Fergie appeared in 2006 action-adventure disaster film Poseidon as well as in director Robert Rodriguez's zombie flick Planet Terror (2007) alongside Rose McGowan.
