Floral refers to anything consisting of or pertaining to flowers. It can be referred to in pattern form, as in apparel, artwork, or even wallpaper.

Floristry is an area in which the florist has the ability to select and arrange flowers in such a way to suit a specific occasion. Floral arrangements are carefully chosen and designed according to the event taking place. They can be made up to fit vases, baskets, or things like wreaths and bouquets. Bouquets are most commonly used in weddings.

Many flowers have different meanings for different cultures so a florist must be aware of these traditions and make floral arrangements accordingly.
