What's more American than apple pie, pizza, and the Fourth of July? Foosball might make it into a song someday, but for now it is content to be a game like pool and air hockey that is very exciting for participants of all ages.

Almost everyone knows what foosball is and has played it a time or twenty. It's the one where you twist with a flick of your wrist a military-style line up of soccer player figurines to either kick at the air or the ball, preferably the ball. And because the game is so enjoyable, you won't mind once in a while if the ball stalls equidistant between two opponents and nobody has a chance at it. This is where you either re-serve the ball, or like a ventriloquist, throw your breath (instead of your voice).

A foosball table is designed to represent a soccer field, and you spring into action the various player positions as the ball moves up or down the field. As of yet you still cannot head the ball, and "hands" is never penalized. Neither can you rough up another player, because the creator allowed each of the players ample personal space.
