Forex broker is a company which works as a financial gateway for all those who want to trade on the Forex market. This "gateway" helps you to get access to the interbank - because only on interbank are the foreign currencies actually being traded.

A typical Forex broker opens you an account that has one (or several) Forex trading platforms installed. A trading platform is a technical tool that helps you trade currencies on the interbank from the comfort of your PC.

When choosing a Forex broker one should consider many factors such as overnights and their rules (there is a nice blog publication explaining overnights here). Other factors include spread, the type of trading platform offered by the trader, and the dealing desk trick (whether the broker has any chance to do it with you or not).

This is what some bloggers recommend to pay attention to when choosing a Forex broker and reviewing its credibility.
