If you're someone who is still going to be working at the same job ten years after you're dead, then perhaps you should look into founding your own company. Thousands of people every day quit their job and found their own company. Find something that you enjoy doing. Find something you are passionate about. And then build a company around it!

To be a founder, you need to have an entrepreneurial spirit about you, you need to be cautiously optimistic about your chances for success, and you need to be able to take risks. If you have these three things, you are ready to go!

But be ready to face some rejection. When you go to the bank for a small business loan, the bank officer may say something like, "Why don't you come back a little later? It's 3:20 right now, how about you come back in 20 years?"

Plus the early years of a company can be really tough. It's sometimes so expensive you can only flip on the light switch at your company to read your electricity bill.

Don't let these things get to you. It will get better. You can do it! Bloggers speaking about founders can be found at sites like founderblog.
