It is being reported that the Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms with wide receiver Ashley Lelie. Lelie will join fellow former Bronco Javon Walker in the Raiders’ wide receiver corps. The contract has not yet been signed, nor is there any word on who will be cut. (more…)

The last couple of days have been eventful for the Oakland Raiders as special teams ace Jarrod Cooper has retired, several players put on the disabled list, the cuts beginning, as well as a few players added to give Lane Kiffin the competition that he has been asking for.

Week one of the preseason is in the books, and the game for week 2 is coming fast. The Raiders added some depth at linebacker by signing a career safety yesterday. Lane Kiffin has expressed concern about a lack of depth. The secretive Raiders actually had their one practice in front of fans, but didn’t show a lot.

SFGate.com’s David White reports that Al Davis is unhappy that LaMont Jordan has signed with the New England Patriots. Jordan’s time in Oakland can be considered disappointing at best and a complete waste at worst, so it shouldn’t matter where he goes.

Just a little breaking news to keep things lively.  Jordan signed with the New England Patriots today, but the terms of the deal were not announced.  Raider fans may want to remember that Jordan will have his homecoming and hopefully his comeuppance, Sunday December 14th when the Patriots come to town.
