I apologize for being a bit late this weekend. I trust that you all had a wonderful Saturday and I’ll catch you up on things to do for tomorrow. If you don’t mind a little bit of a drive go check out the Wenatchee River Salmon Festival.

I had me a day with Lulu today. Lulu needed some bracelet forms. She thought she'd get them in Bremerton. That's about a 45 mile drive from Tacoma. But then she looked on the jewelry supplier's website and saw they'd move to Fremont in Seattle. Or so she thought. And that they were open on Sunday.

We recently went to the site of our first official dinner date: Norms Eatery & Ale House. This is Jeff’s favorite place to go for a beer in Seattle. So naturally he tested me when we first met to see if I would eat dinner there with him. I not only ate dinner there I ordered the beer and peanut butter chili too.

Diving into the marshmallow cloud seems natural for this woman with perfect form suspended above the entrance to the live music venue High Dive in the Fremont neighborhood. An interesting neon sign in it's own right, but there is more.

The Fremont neighborhood in Seattle describes itself as the "Center of the Universe". Because of this self-ascribed importance the neighborhood strives to be just a bit different. Unique. Odd. Fantastic. Bohemian. Interesting and a bit whimsical with fairy tale characters as neighbors.

If you've ever been to The War Room in Capitol Hill, then you're more than familiar with the artwork of Shepard Fairey. Or, if you've never been to the venue, then you're sure to have seen the recognizable "Andre the Giant Has a Posse" sticker campaign turned Obey Giant.
