While Sneaky Sound System has achieved phenomenal success in the last two years, the group has been pounding out music for more than five years. Originally, the group was comprised of Angus and Daimon, who established their own production company and began to independently produce their own music, something that was not widely done at the time.

It would seem that Black Angus and MC Double D always had confidence in their abilities and their dreams to make it big, but it was not until they ran across Connie Mitchell, that the final missing piece of the puzzle fell into place. Prior to forming a musical partnership with Miss Connie, the two had enjoyed plenty of success on their own on the club scene.

The dance scene in Australia is currently producing extremely talented, eclectic and unique groups that are taking the world by storm. While the dance scene is quite hot in Australia at the current time, it is largely a derivative of cultures that have found success overseas, before experiencing changes and finding a home in Australia.

When it comes to achieving success, Sneaky Sound System clearly knows a thing or two. Comprised of three highly talented individuals, the electro dance group has taken honors at the ARIA awards and broken records all over the place. Quite surprisingly, the group has managed to achieve this level of success without affiliation by a major recording label.

At one time, trying to make it as an independent band would most certainly spell disaster for any group. Today that is no longer the case. The widespread success of Australian based dance group Sneaky Sound System definitely points to the fact success can be achieved independently.

When Sneaky Sound System emerged on the scene as an independent group, their fresh and unique sound was almost immediately picked up on by local DJs and radio stations. When their debut album went on to peak near the top of the charts and then earn platinum sales status, it quickly became apparent that this independent group from Sydney was more than just a fly-by-night dance group.

In the last two years, Sneaky Sound System has been diligently, and somewhat sneakily, some might say, climbing their way to the top of the charts. The group’s beginnings were somewhat inauspicious. In fact, the group has actually compared themselves to an electronic garage band with dreams of achieving stadium success.
