This same process created the Hawaiian Islands, and it continues today in both island groups. There are currently sixty named islands, the principals being Fernandina, Isabela, Baltra, James, Santa Cruz and San Cristobal.

We're Traveling....

One of those things was to cross another continent off the list of places I've been. So, we're crossing off South America--that and Antarctica are all that are left. With that said, we are headed to Quito, Ecuador and then on to the Galapagos Islands until May 24th.
