http://folkbum.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ if-gas-prices-continue-to-rise.htmlby capper With gas now going for as high as $4.19 a gallon in some parts of town, it won't be long before we see these: Diesel prices are even worse, so just for my friend Bill, I've got a picture of his new rig: Labels: Gasoline

Why I’m glad the price of gasoline is soaring
http://www.wickedblog.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ why-im-glad-the-price-of-gasoline-is-so…While gasoline prices top $4.00 per gallon and the economy pundits’ projections dip and sway, I’m glad that my business is already established and runs from a home office. I’m also pleased that I’ve taken the time to evaluate my clients, services and my business expenses and trim them all back neatly.

$3.85
http://phampants.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ 385/I never thought of the day when I thought $3.85 for gas was cheap. So on my drive home, when I saw one of my many gas stations I drive twice each day was $3.85, I looked at my gas gauge and decided that I probably should. I had enough gas for another 2 days, [...]

Gas Stations’ Profits Hurting: Should Congress Intervene?
http://www.consumerismcommentary.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ gas-stations-profits-hurting…A recent article on CNN Money described the woes of independent gas station owners. The increasing cost of a gallon of gasoline results in less profit thanks to the processing fees credit card companies charge the merchants. I can appreciate that doing business in this type of environment is tough.

$3.95
http://peoriachronicle.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ 395/A gallon of gasoline is $3.95 today. In a couple weeks it will no doubt be over $4. It’s getting to the point that I can’t afford to drive anymore. Unfortunately, in Peoria, not driving leaves you with very few options. There’s bicycling, as the paper profiled today. There are limitations to that, however.

Is Inflation Moderating?
http://rtjfinancial.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ is-inflation-moderating/The Labor Department earlier this morning reported that consumer prices rose .2% in April and a total of 2.3% year-over-year, a much tamer figure than most experts were expecting and much less than most people would think, given the high price of food, gas and other items. That’s good news for

The Y2K of Gas Pumps
http://teabreak.pk/ the-y2k-of-gas-pumps-50/ 1749/There are limitations to making informed decisions regarding things too far into the future. It is limited by the fact that just too many variables, both known and unknown, play into the equation to make a well calculated prediction. Basically, the event is off the horizon, beyond sight and therefore impossible to predict accurately.

http://collectingmythoughts.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ kiss-rules-of-supply-and-dem…
Yesterday gasoline jumped twenty five cents between the time my husband filled up in Bucyrus, and when he came back through 3 hours later. Thomas Segal says no blog he's ever written generated more comment than the one he did on the ethanol hoax. His is not a blog I regularly read; someone sent it to me.
