Better Than Coffee: “Yakety Sax” Mashups
http://coilhouse.net/ 2008/ 10/ 06/ better-than-coffee-yakety-sax-mashups/There are two kinds of people in this world. People who truly appreciate the subtle, sophisticated humor of Benny Hill, and people who should just crawl back into bed right now and cry themselves to sleep because they’re obviously hopeless, sub-human degenerates. Er, wait. Perhaps I’ve got it backwards… Well, anyhoo.

Squeeeeeeeeeee!
http://blog.robballen.com/ archive/ 2008/ 10/ 01/ squeeeeeeeeeee.aspxOMG - You can watch all the old Buck Rogers episodes online! Holy crap were those cheesy! But they bring back such memories. I'd love to see this show brought back with the same, dark treatment like Battlestar Galactica. Hopefully with less gratuitous chest hair shots of Buck, too.

Modern witch hunts in the US.I'm glad I kept my monochrome Gameboy, because I need to put it in a blender so that I can open up an interdimensional portal to that world where everything looks like a Japanese painting.

The excitement is back - SpaceX successful launch
http://www.synthstuff.com/ mt/ archives/ individual/ 2008/ 09/ the_excitement_is…I grew up when the NASA Mercury flights were just starting and my grade school would come to a stop and 120 students and faculty would cram into the assembly room to watch a small B&W television set whenever these launches took place. Private company SpaceX successfully launched their Falcon1 rocket into orbit.

[Comics] Annihilation: Super Skrull
http://www.geeky-guide.com/ 2008/ 09/ comics-annihilation-super-skrull.html#fullpost{display:inline;}As a kid, I was never really a big Fantastic Four fan. Sure, there was that slight coolness factor for the group of such diverse abilities and how they'd often get involved in more galactic-level threats instead of just your run-of-the-mill villains.
