Gemini is the third of the twelve sun signs of the zodiac. In western astrology people born between May 21 and June 21 are born under the sign of Gemini.

Gemini is one of the three air signs, known for intellectual pursuits, and one of the four mutable signs, known for change and adaptability.

Gemini is associated with Twins, underscoring the attribute of being able to quickly change from one line of reasoning to another, or even from one personality to another. They offer versatility and ability to see all sides of a subject, but can seem inconsistent.

The constellation Gemini is noted for two bright stars, Castor and Pollux, forming the heads of two human figures. It is visible in the mid-winter months in the northern hemisphere. The
Geminids meteor shower appears to originate from the constellation Gemini.
