Currently the 50 foot spider that weighs in at 40 tons appears to be sleeping. The enormous 50 foot spider is about to “wake up” on Friday.

The 50-Foot Mechanical Spider Awakens The 50-foot robot spider known as "La Princesse" has awakened from hibernation to explore the streets of Liverpool. This £1.5m beast is supposed to aid tourism and spur the local economy—which will just mean that La Princesse has more goodies to eat.

50 foot spider on the loose and it is creating havoc in Liverpool right now. If you think that Beatles is the largest insect then you are wrong because this giant spider is. With the height of 50 feet and weight more than 40 tons literally you will be crushed like insects! Check the photos of the 50 foot spider hanging at the side of this building.

This is my idea of hell. Have we learned nothing from the Trojans? That’s right. I’m waiting for this thing to open up and the army of mechanical mini-spiders to slowly colonize the planet. Didn’t anyone else see Cloverfield? Why do the Brits seem so excited about this thing? It must be all that Marmite.

The BBC is reporting that commuters arriving at Liverpool's Lime Street station were greeted by a 50ft high mechanical spider clinging to a nearby abandoned office building. I could leave it at that and let you assume you've just been clued in to the beginning of the apocalypse but then you would go waste time investigating and I prefer you waste all of your precious time right here.
